This is an introductory class focusing on a number of broad engineering topics and familiarizes you with information and processes you will need to start using Pro Tools.

101: Pro Tools 101

Pro Tools 101 is a Digidesign Certified course that covers basic principles, giving you what you need to complete a project, from initial set up to final mixdown. Whether your project involves live instruments, MIDI sequencing or audio looping, this course gives you the basic skills to succeed.

110: Pro Tools 110

Pro Tools 110 is a Digidesign Certified course that covers the key concepts and skills needed to operate a Pro Tools system in a home studio environment. You will learn to record, edit, how to use the essentials of automation and to work with both audio and MIDI. You will gain hands on experience through a series of class exercise project files.

120: Mastering Waves Plug-ins (Certification)

Mastering Waves Plug-ins is Waves Certified course that provides a broad understanding of the principles and proper application of signal processing. Students will become familar with relevant vocabulary, background information and understand the uses and benefits of various plug-ins. 5 popular Waves plug-ins are included in the course. After a student has successfully completed the course, they are eligible to take an Exam to obtain "Waves Certification."

201: Pro Tools 201

Pro Tools 201 is a Digidesign Certified course that covers the core concepts and skills you need to operate a Pro Tools system in a professional studio environment. Students will be introduced to professional Pro Tools HD systems as well as control surfaces. Students will go into greater depth into concepts such as automation, editing, mixing and session management. Experience will be gained through a series of class exercise and project files.

202: Pro Tools for TV and Film

Pro Tools for TV and Film is a post production course focusing on using Pro Tools to finish audio for film and television. The goal of the class is for students to walk away with a working knowledge of how to translate video sessions into Pro Tools sessions for dialog cutting, sound design, sweetening, mixing, and final delivery. Students will be exposed to a number of video editing applications.

210M: Pro Tools 210M

Pro Tools 210M is a Digidesign Certified course that completes the skills needed to competently operate a sophisticated Pro Tools system in a professional environment with a focus on music. Students are exposed to a number of music production techniques including interacting with external MIDI devices, loop editing, sampling in Pro Tools and using sound replacer. This is the final course needed prior to earn the DOCM (Digidesign Operator Certification in Music).

210P: Pro Tools 210P

Pro Tools 210P completes the skills needed to competently operate a sophisticated Pro Tools system in a professional environment with a focus on Post Production. Students will learn a number of advanced concepts such as synchronization, ADR concepts, mixing to picture and media exchange formats. Upon completion, you are qualified to take an exam to earn your DOCP (Digidesign Operator Certification in Post Production).

220: Pro Tools 220

Pro Tools 220 is Digidesign's recertification class for students who currently have Version 5, 6 or 7 Music and/or Post Production Certification(s) and would like to update their Certification(s) to Version 8. An official Digidesign Version 8 Certificate will be issued upon successfully taking the class and passing the appropriate exams.

230: All About Mixing

An introduction to audio engineering concepts and techniques with a unique twist: In and Out of Pro Tools. This is an introductory class focusing on a number of broad engineering topics and familiarizes you with information and processes you will need to start using Pro Tools. This class contains all topics of Pro Tools 101 plus important engineering concepts needed to accomplish common audio production goals.

310M: Pro Tools 310M

Pro Tools 310M is a Digidesign Certified course that focuses on the advanced operation of a Pro Tools TDM systems for music production. This course is replete with audio and MIDI production examples commonly found in real-world scenarios involving music-related Pro Tools sessions. 310M classes are very small typically with no more than 4 students in a class. Students are exposed to highly advanced editing and mixing techniques, advanced control surfances, troubleshooting techniques, automation and various advanced plug-ins. Once you complete 310M, you are qualified to take a hands on and written exam and earn your DECM (Digidesign Expert Certification in Music).

310P: Pro Tools 310P

Pro Tools 310P focuses on the advanced operation of a Pro Tools TDM systems for post production. This course is replete with post production examples commonly found in real-world scenarios involving music-related Pro Tools sessions. Once you complete 310P, you are qualified to take a hands on and written exam and earn your DECP (Digidesign Expert Certification in Post Production).
