  2. Pass Digidesign's Operator Certification-Post Production Exams

Expert:

• DECM (Digidesign Expert Certification in Music)
  
  1. Take these classes: PT110, PT201, PT210M & 310M
  2. Pass Digidesign's Operator Certification-Music Exams
  3. Be a DOCM for a minimum of 3 months
  4. Pass Digidesign's Expert Certification Written and Hands on Exams

6. How long is my certification valid?

Certification from Digidesign as either a Pro Tools Operator or Pro Tools Expert is valid indefinitely within the Pro Tools software version you were certified in, currently Pro Tools 7. For future versions, Digidesign will offer special courses and exams so you can update your certification along with your Pro Tools Software.
