Join Régine Chassagne — co-founder, co-lead vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist of Arcade Fire — and Dominique Anglade for an unforgettable evening supporting KANPE, the nonprofit they co-founded to empower rural communities in Haiti. We had the pleasure of working with Régine as a ProMedia Training client and are proud to help spread the word about her event and mission.
Arcade Fire is a ten-time Grammy-nominated band and won the Grammy for Album of the Year for The Suburbs (2010).
A trailblazer in Quebec politics, business, and academia, Dominique Anglade brings strategic vision to KANPE’s mission. Her career has been defined by a commitment to innovation, inclusion, and economic empowerment.

About KANPE
Founded in 2010 by Régine Chassagne and Dominique Anglade, KANPE (meaning “to stand up” in Haitian Creole) works to build self-sufficient rural communities in Haiti’s Central Plateau. KANPE’s holistic model spans six pillars: leadership, entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, agroforestry, and infrastructure. Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, the organization remains a registered charity in both the U.S. and Canada.
About the Visionaries
Régine Chassagne – Co-Founder, KANPE
Born in Montréal to Haitian parents who fled the Duvalier dictatorship, Régine has woven her heritage into her art and activism. As co-founder of Arcade Fire, she brought the song Haïti to the world stage — a tribute to her roots and her people’s resilience. Beyond music, she has helped raise over $12 million for Haitian causes through her leadership and philanthropy.
Paul Beaubrun – KANPE Board Member
Born into Haiti’s legendary musical family Boukman Eksperyans, Paul Beaubrun combines his heritage with modern activism through music. As both a solo artist and member of Arcade Fire, he uses his platform to amplify Haitian voices and mentor emerging talent. He joined Arcade Fire in 2022, while continuing his solo career, advocacy and mentorship for Haiti's youth.
Chef Paul Toussaint – Guest Chef
Born in Jacmel and based in Montréal, Chef Paul Toussaint has redefined Caribbean cuisine through his restaurants Kamúy and the Americas BBQ counter at Time Out Market. His cooking honors Haitian roots while embracing global flavors.
