Solid State Logic Selects ProMedia Training as First U.S. Professional Certified SSL Training Partner

Expanding Pro Tools Workflows with SSL Technology

SSL Expands ProMedia’s Training Pipeline into Advanced Mixing and Mastering

ProMedia Training is best known for delivering comprehensive Avid Pro Tools certification programs taught by the authors and developers of the official Avid Pro Tools certification textbooks. Those materials are used by colleges, universities, and training centers worldwide, and several members of ProMedia’s instructor team have been recognized by Avid for their long-term contributions to DAW education.

With SSL now integrated into the training pipeline, ProMedia is extending that same hands-on approach into advanced mixing and mastering workflows built around the tools and processing environments used in professional studios.

Students will move from foundational DAW operation into real-world mixing decisions shaped by the sound, control, and workflow standards associated with SSL plugins and hardware.

Mixing & Mastering classes powered by SSL

Starting in Sept 2026, ProMedia will be offering Mixing & Mastering Classes powered by SSL Solid State Logic. There will be dedicated classes for Mixing Music, and Post-Production Mixing (TV/Film).

Students in these classes will also receive access to a substantial professional plugin package, including SSL tools and additional products from Slate Digital.

Each student will be given the full set of SSL plugins, as well as plugins by Slate. (Over 100+ professional plugins).
