Overview and Descriptions
For over 20 years, ProMedia Training has been a official Avid Training Center teaching beginners through expert level users. Whether you need hands-on, in person classes, or Live-Online Instructor-Led training, we offer the entire Pro Tools Curriculum in short term bootcamp-style courses taught over several days to weeks. We teach all things Pro Tools including but not limited to Recording, Editing, Mixing, Automation, Music Production, and Audio Engineering within a Pro Tools HD Enviornment.
Our courses prepare you properly for the Avid Certification exam; Avid Certification is an additional pathway for staying on the cutting-edge of your skills. From the smallest bedroom studio to the largest produciton facility, television or radio, Pro Tools has become the standard for audio production.

Pro Tools 201
PT201 is an Advanced Course. Improve recording, editing, and mixing workflows, work with hardware processors & routing, console integration, patchbay, hardware configurations for mixing surfaces, utilizing Pro Tools HD.
Pro Tools 210
PT210 is an Advanced Course in Music Production or Post Production covering techniques for working with Pro Tools systems in a professional music production environment. Skills are expanded across all prior courses. Required for Operator Cert.

Pro Tools User Certification
The first level of Pro Tools Certification you can achieve is: Avid Certified User for Pro Tools. Our courses prepare you for these exams.
You must take, and pass, two (2) Avid exams: Pro Tools Fundamentals I (PT101) and Pro Tools Fundamentals II (PT110) with a score of 40 out of 50.
Pro Tools Operator Certification
After obtaining your User Certification, you can continue on with your Pro Tools education and achieve the next level of Pro Tools Certification: Avid Certified Operator for Pro Tools.
You must take, and pass, two (2) exams: Pro Tools Production I (PT201) and Pro Tools Production II (PT210 Music or Post Production).
