For several generations of Pro Tools, there have been new features introduced to help you with your workflow. One of these features is Track Bounce, which allows you to export audio stems of individual outputs from your session. At first glance this may appear to copy existing features already available in Pro Tools, however this features allows you options not found in other export options. Let's take a look at how you can use Track Bounce in Pro Tools.

Review this Tutorial & Video on how to create Effects & Returns in Pro Tools. In the context of a mixing, people like to hear effects for a variety of reasons. Maybe a little reverb and some delay are used to create a sense of natural space for a vocal. It could even be to add distortion to guitars, make a hand-clap echo in time with the rhythm, or make your voice sound like a robot.
