Pro Tools User Certification
Attending our Workshop prepares you to begin your Pro Tools Certification journey. By passing the first two Avid Exams, you can achieve the first level of Pro Tools Certification: Avid Certified User for Pro Tools. Our courses prepare you for these exams.
The PT101 Course introduces you to the core principals needed to use Pro Tools. Regardless is you are a beginner, or seasoned user, this course lays the ground work for all things Pro Tools. You will learn how to build sessions, record audio and MIDI, use editing tools, keyboard shortcuts, signal flow concepts, mixing and automation concepts, and much more.
This PT110 course takes your Pro Tools knowledge to the next level. Building upon the foundations of 101, this course dives much deeper into workflow techniques, session management, even understanding audio hardware options. You'll learn advanced techniques used in recording, editing, mixing, and workflow shortcuts. This course is the next step of your continuing Pro Tools evolution. By completing the Avid Exams for this course, and the 101, you are eligible for your Pro Tools User Certification
After successfully completing both exams,101 and 110, you will gain the title of Avid Certified User. Whether you're a working audio industry professional, or an active student looking to begin their career, Pro Tools Certification is necessary in today's workforce. You can be sure to carry your knowledge into the future as the certificaiton is based on Pro Tools version, it doesn't expire.
Pro Tools Operator
Pro Tools Operator Certification
Whether you are working with Music Production, or Post Production, Pro Tools Operator Certification will guide you through the twists and turns of working in a professional environment. From recording and editing, to signal-flow and mixing, Pro Tools Operator Certification give you the tools to progress your career in the audio industry. Our courses prepare you for these exams.

- Pro Tools Operator Certification
The Pro Tools PT201 course covers the fundamental skills and concepts needed to utilize and operate an Avid Pro Tools HD system in a professional production setting. This course expands upon eveything you learned in the 101 and 110 courses by exposing you to larger, more advanced Pro Tools configurations and a Pro-Audio mindset. You will learn how to set up, configure, and utilize larger, more powerful Pro Tools HD Systems and Pro Tools Ultimate Software
The Pro Tools PT210 course allows you to focus on your primary interest, Music Production, or Post Production. Due to the extreme technology difference, as well as purpose, there are vast sets of functions within Pro Tools that focus specifically on Music Production, while other functions are utilized in TV/Film Post Production.
For people working in both fields, you can take both courses, as well as each Certification Exam if you wish to be certified in both Music and Post Production.
Once you complete the coursework for PT201 and PT201 (Music or Post), you are eligible to take the Avid Exam for your Avid Pro Tools Operator Cretification.
At this level you have a choice as to which path suits your needs, either Music Production or Post Production. You also have the option of taking both exams if you complete both courses.
