The addition of Folder Tracks into Pro Tools has introduced a host of new workflow features including the ability to create a multi-track Instrument presets. This video shows you how easy it is to use your own presets to streamline your workflow and help organize sessions.
Many of the Virtual Instruments available today allow you to utilize multi-channel audio outputs right from the plugin. This gives you the ability to assign different sounds to output on independent audio output channels. For music production this is a great feature in that it gives you the ability to isolate different sounds from each other. For example, you could sequence an entire drum pattern on a single instrument plugin, then output each of the individual sounds of the kit to their own Aux Track. You would now be able to process, blend, and mix each of the sounds individually, as opposed to having all the sound output from a singular stereo output.
